Is it a bulb? Is it a tree? No, it’s a bulb tree! Ok, so that doesn’t exactly explain what this pretty little thing does, but it gives a fairly good idea. It’s a decorative light which consists of five bulbs, and its bendy stems resemble a tree. It can add character to your home, and provide an interesting conversation point, but wait; there’s more. It has a pretty sweet function when you turn on those tunes, as the five plexi-glass bulbs are sound-reactive. Simply switch the light on at the back, and turn up the beats; or just choose to sit and clap furiously. The louder the noise, the brighter the lights; the faster the tempo, the more they flash. The rainbow display of lights can be activated with any sound: talk, stomp and even sing to your lamp, we just can’t guarantee that the neighbours will understand. There’s a sensitivity dial at the back though, so you can set the Bulb Tree to maximum, making it shiver with a range of colours at the slightest bump or noise. Of course, there’s a setting at the back for when you don’t want to make a racket, so just switch the light to ‘AUTO’ to continue the show without any audio.
