We all know that DIY can go wrong sometimes, so it’s good to know there’s an option that doesn’t require the use of screws and nails. Messy wires and a capacity for clumsiness make installing alarms a nightmare. That’s where this easy fit door alarm comes in, complete with self-adhesive sticky pads. Stick it on any door that needs it, and simply remember 2 AA batteries (not included). The door alarm is comprised of two separate components - the main body of the device and a magnetic sensor - which work together to keep the unwanted out. The body can be fitted to any window frame or door, and once the magnetic sensor is applied to a corresponding area, you’ll be ready to catch intruders in no time. The sensor is triggered when the door or window is opened, and the ear-splitting alarm will send any would-be-burglars fleeing. Don’t worry about accidentally bursting your ear drums though: simply turn the switch to ‘OFF’ to deactivate the alarm. Of course, the alarm can be used in other ways too: perhaps it’s time to update that ‘KEEP OUT’ sign, and remind your parents to stop rummaging through your stuff.
