PicooZ Insecta Helicopter
Get ready for the latest from the Silverlit PicooZ series, a micro RC
helicopter with a twist, let us introduce you to the Insecta. An
extraordinary breed of chopper we would say, crossed between your usual
flying toy with rotors and a big bug eyed evil looking fly. Something
funnies been going on somewhere and we wouldn’t like to say what!
With humungous eyes that pulsate away like something you’d see
in a sci-fi horror movie, this little beast is sure to gather attention
in your neighbourhood. Fly it around in the dark and you’re certain to
make someone hide under the duvet, now this could get quite
interesting, it could indeed if you had more than one, how about flying
three together? You can do just that with the PicoZ Insetca micro RC
helicopter, thanks to each colour (that’s yellow, blue and green)
working on a different radio controlled frequency. Collect all three
and annoy the nation, just make sure that grumpy old man next door
doesn’t try to whack one with his fly swatter!
The PicooZ Insecta weighs in at a mere 10 grams and has a miniature
length of 17cm, making the flying a doddle, which you’ll notice after a
few flights. The body is constructed from robust polypropylene foam,
therefore the Insecta is incredibly durable (handy for novices!). To
compensate for any emergency crash landings a spare tail rotor blade is
supplied just in case.
The remote control transmitter allows you to manoeuvre the
Insecta forwards, left, right and (of course) up and down. The
transmitter also doubles up as a charger, so no need for
anything to be plugged into the mains. A good 30 minutes charge will
provide you with 10 minutes of frantic flying time.
The PicooZ Insecta micro RC helicopter is to take the world by storm
(or should it be swarm!) in 2008, just like the original’s did in 2007.
Almost technically identical to the best selling PicooZ but with an
updated auto stability system the Insecta is an affordable yet fun
flying machine that’ll provide some serious entertainment for both
young and old.
A bit of friendly advise, get one now and become a trend setting
innovator for 2008, before everyone around you buys one first and asks
you ‘where yours?’.
