Chances are that if you've ever been asked to play a game of catch, you've said yes on the basis it's a nice, relaxing way of whiling away 15 minutes in the garden with your nearest and dearest. But no longer can you afford to be so trusting, as some voltage-obsessed sadist has decided to add an element of Russian Roulette to this previously pleasant pastime.

Gather up a group of friends and quickly pass the ball between you, although make sure you don't hang on to it for too long, because at some point it's going to give somebody a nasty shock! Because the shock is completely random, the game of catch rapidly descends into a frantic scene of arm-flapping and off-loading, accompanied by nervous shrieks. Yes, this really does separate the men from the boys. Or the women from the girls. Or the wheat from the chaff. Or whatever.

Although tortuous by nature, the Shock Ball can be used in all sorts of imaginative ways, none more so than in drinking games or deciding whose round it is at the bar. Whoever thought pain could be so much fun!
