Producing a good mini-speaker is not an easy thing to do, as sound quality is often compromised in the eternal quest to make things as small and stylish as possible.

That’s not to say it can’t be done, though, and the Spring Speaker is a perfect example of this. With 2 speakers at either end, a quick twist and pull of the pod will extend it concertina-fashion, creating extra room to amplify the sound and bass.

We won’t pretend that the Spring Speaker is going to make the walls of your house shake, but it will certainly pump out your favourite tunes in a way that belies its size.

With an in-built battery that charges via USB, the Spring Speaker connects to any MP3 player with a 3.5mm audio port and provides around 4 hours of playtime. Perfect for an impromptu party!
