These ghoulishly yet cute creatures are fantastic for both kids and grown-ups alike. Each Mood Beam has a unique personality that is shown off by glowing in its own distinctive colour, making them perfect for night lights or just sticking around the house for a warm feel. The Mood Beams come with a great function that allows them to be set into a further five flashing modes, this is simply done by tapping the little chaps head. The fun with these guys doesn’t stop there, they will also respond to music by showing off a whole range of funky hypnotic colours thanks to an internal beat sensor. Place one on a hi-fi speaker and watch it go mad as it goes through a colour changing frenzy.
There are twelve to collect, four in each Series: Mood Beams Series One, Mood Beams Series Two and Mood Beams Series Three, the latter released at Christmas 2007. Unfortunately the Series One has been discontinued, so if you haven’t got any from this collection they will be hard to find. The full collection is as follows:

Mood Beam Modes:
- Heartbeat: Mood Beam will glow in their personal colour, but their hearts will occasionally glow in another
- Rainbow: Mood Beam will gently phase through a selection of colours
- Strobe: Mood Beam will go into mega rave mode and flash madly
- Colour Dance: Mood Beams phase through colours in certain patterns
- Colour Hold: Mood Beam will glow only in its personal colour
- Sleep: Mood Beam will turn off after ten minutes of activity

I totally love these mood beams and my niece Ellie does too! she came to stay for a couple of days and has already ordered some (I paid of course!)
The folks at Deviltronics were really helpful as she wanted one of the colours that weren’t available. They got back to us the following day and told us they’d got the colour we wanted and it was in the mail. We got it a couple of days later. Great service - wish more online shops were so helpful.
