Cool Gadgets, Remote Controlled Toys
It’s nearly that time again, when we all run around like headless chickens trying to buy gifts for Christmas. Even though it can be fun, there’s always the irritating question: ‘What do I buy?’, as you remember your partners, dads or brothers face when, last year, they unwrapped yet another packet of socks or a knitted jumper! This time why not give him them unusual gift, something more exciting… At Deviltronics we have gifts for men that will put a genuine smile on their faces.
We’re all big kids at heart, so one of our popular gifts for men is the 3-in-1 All Terrain Robot. It comes flat packed, so it’ll give them something to build whilst learning about the basics of robotic technology. This robot is fun, entertaining and will definitely keep them busy. The beauty of this gift is that it can be transformed, so it’s almost like you’re buying three gifts for the price of one! If they get bored of using it as the Forklift or the novelty wears off (as it does with most things) there’s always the option to modify into the two other models – the Rover or Gripper – thanks to the different track modules; providing even more hours of fun.

So, forget about the traditional gifts for men and plant this 3-in-1 All Terrain Robot Kit under the tree, but don’t forget the 4AA batteries, as they’re not included – we don’t think shops are open on Christmas day!

We’ve had some great radio controlled helicopters over the years, from the standard 2 channel ones which are great for kids to the almighty outdoor helicopters more suited for adults. We now bring you something with a bit more excitement, and that’s missile firing helicopters! Seriously there’s nothing better than lazing on your sofa and firing at targets in your very own living room.

The missile firing helicopters we have on offer are the Silverlit Heli Blaster (below) and the Gyro Stealth Attack (above), both of which are an absolute gem to fly and carry out destroy (or annoy!) missions. So what’s the difference between the two? Well the Silverlit Heli Blaster comes with six missiles where as the Gyro Stealth Attack only comes with two. As the name suggests the Stealth Attack comes with Gyro technology providing a more stable flight but that’s not to say the Silverlit Heli Blaster will simply be blown out of the skies with the lack of this technology.

The Silverlit Heli Blaster comes in three distinctive colours, each on a different channel band, so up to three can be flown at once for a massive dog fight.
All in all both of these radio controlled helicopters are a doddle to fly and will provide plenty of fun if you want to go one step further than doing crazy manoeuvres in your living room. Either would make an ideal RC helicopter for kids.

That time of year has come again, the weather is heating up and we want to get outdoors, well it’s so much better than sitting behind the desk in a stuffy office isn’t it! Us gadget enthusiasts love the summer heat because it means we can dust off our cool gadgets and have hours of fun with them in the long summer evenings.
To enjoy the fun even more we have just got one of our best sellers back in stock, the Black Hawk Indoor Helicopter from the Silverlit Picooz family. Whether you’re a true Helicopter fanatic or just a general gadget lover you can be sure, as with all of our radio controlled helicopters, that this awesome little beast will bring hours of fun. We most certainly have had hours of fun playing around with it in the office (not that this has pleased the boss much!).
This Black Hawk Helicopter features an outstanding injection moulded foam body and has an amazing paint finish, it is definitely one of the most detailed scaled remote controlled helicopters we have. You’ll be spoilt for choice whether you go for the Sikorsky black, grey or camouflage, each has a detail that’ll amaze you. Get one and see for yourself, trust us you won’t be disappointed.
As with all of our indoor helicopters they can be flown outdoors too, so as long as the weather is behaving itself and the wind is calm. These summery times are perfect for flying in the back garden and annoying the neighbours from over the fence!

Helpful Tips, Remote Controlled Toys
The world of Radio Controlled Helicopters has taken off considerably in recent years as fun loving gadget enthusiasts demand even more excitement. From an outdoor RC helicopter to a micro indoor helicopter there is a lot to choose from when getting involved with this addictive fun flying frenzy. So as a beginner pilot let us help you out a bit on buying your very first radio controlled helicopter.
Let us get one thing straight, when flying a radio controlled helicopter you should expect to crash! With this in mind, it’s just as well that the materials used in the decent bunch of remote control helicopters are made to withstand a few hard knocks so it’s not game over as soon as you fly hard straight into a wall in your early flight training days. You also get some spares in some packages. Crashing is not a bad thing, just part of the learning curve as you build up your skills and experience as a beginner helicopter pilot (and soon to be a pro!).
With that out the way lets move on to the range of beginner RC helicopters out there, as already stated there is a lot to choose from, whether you intend to spend £20.00 or £100.00. Firstly it’s best to go for a radio controlled helicopter that is from a reputable manufacturer and not one of those cheaper ones that will fall flat out of the sky on its first flight. Secondly as a beginner pilot you’re much better to go for a helicopter that is ready to fly straight out the box instead of spending hours building a kit, even if they are that much nicer they are more expensive.
Here at Deviltronics we offer three channel and four channel helicopters, both of which are suitable for the beginner, be it for children or adults. The latest technology to arrive is the Gyro radio conrolled helicopter system which provides the ultimate control and stability, very helpful for the novice. With a three channel system you can fly a radio controlled helicopter up, down, forwards, backwards, left and right as well as hover in a single spot. A four channel system adds side-ways movement.
All the helicopters at the Deviltronics Gadget Shop are easy to fly and suitable for beginners however we do recommend that children are supervised by adults for the best experience, it gives mums and dads to join in with the fun too!

Another cool combo, first we gave you the Silverlit Heli-Mission, now we bring you the Silverlit Heli-Racer. It’s a highly manoeuvrable futuristic car and 3 channel radio controlled helicopter in one! Another awesome gadget set to be a hot toy for Christmas 2010 and we’re not surprised considering the fun factor involved.
The Heli Racer comes in at half the weight of the Heli Mission Truck, making this futuristic combo much faster. It’s also more compact giving you the ability to have the same fun in smaller confined spaces. Addictive enough, but the flying fun is still to come, push a button on the remote and you’ll open up the outward sliding doors to release the 3 channel radio controlled helicopter. Then flick a switch on the remote and you can take full control of the indoor helicopter, there’s no better way to heading to the skies for a mission or two. Being lightweight the helicopter is pretty fast too, but at the same time is fairly easy to handle thanks to the proportional throttle control.

We think you’ll love the Silverlit Heli Racer whether it’s booming about blaring its sounds and lights on the living room floor or when it’s whizzing around high up skimming the ceiling. It’s certainly one of those cool gifts for men.
